I use to do soap moulding when my kids were young & we loved it. I use to just cut up a bar of soap and heat it in a saucepan then pour it in our moulds.
Now my youngest daughter has children of her own and she tried doing the same thing but when she heated up the cut up soap bar it just went into a lump and wouldnt melt... Is there any trick to this or does she have to buy special specific items.
