At least I hope it does for me!! It really was an eye opener to move the stash from one house to the other. In the end my DH just nodded when I identified yet another box/bag/carton etc as 'stuff'. Some things went to the op shop, lots didnt lol. But I have had a lovely time resorting my fabrics and patterns and books and have found things I had lost and things that I cant even remember the origins of. And I know sorting is not sewing but it is satisfying. oh and when I was at the op shop I found a great new book that is so good about papermaking so of course I had to buy it!! now I have been meaning to get into that for ages now, and thanks to the move I know just where to lay my hands on the kit I bought oh sometime last century I think LOL. And now that I have found this group, well there should be no holding me back.
Challenges to myself : Make Josef's quilt
blocks are done it just needs putting together (is that all)
Work on one thing until it is done

- I think I will have to do the same but I'm scared of opening my craft boxes as there is so much in there.I started to make a quilted cot set when one of my Grandsons was born and he had his 9th Birthday in January and it's still not finished.Maybe for a Great Grandson?

- I lost a knitting pattern and looked through all my craft stuff, well, not quite all of it. I looked at some projects that I had got the materials for and wished I could make them right now. But too busy to do everything. I finally finished a patterned scarf, took so long and a bit fiddly. So I've chosen some little projects and have actually finished a blue baby beanie! Then I thought I'd like to make some cards as my supply was getting low. I found my nearly finished wedding scrapbooking album (I've been married 24 years and decided a revamp was necessary). I finished it! Now to get onto those cards...

- I have so much fabric and patterns in my sewing cupboard and so little time that i decided to stay up on evening till morning to start at least acouple of projects. wish me luck ladies.

- I know exactly what you mean about unfinished projects.
  I challenge us all to pull out one unfinished project by sundown on 2 January 2010 and do SOMETHING on it every day until it's finished.
  Might inspire us to finish all the projects!

- good to know i'm not the only person who has UFOs. ;)
  
  there was this phase of time when i was obsessed with amigurumis, and most of them ended up being incomplete, and now i have a box of half completed toys and a bag of stuffing collecting dust in my cupboard. lets all work hard to finish up our projects!
  
  i'll post pictures when something gets completed, so far its about 3 to go. all the best everyone! ;)
