- Materials
- • decorative papers
• glossy magazine pages
• Jones Tones plexi glue
• wooden skewer
• scissors
• gold or silver wire
• seed beads
• ribbon
• round nose pliers - Step 1
- Cut papers and magazine pages into strips 3cm wide and 10-12cm long. Mark the centre of one short side and cut from the mark up to the corner of the strip at the opposite end, repeat for the other side. The paper should resemble a long tapered triangle shape.

- Step 2
- Place the wide end of the paper onto the skewer and roll tightly finishing with the point. Take care not to make it too tight as it will have to slide off the skewer when glued. When all the paper is rolled onto the skewer, place a drop of glue onto the end to hold it together then slide the bead off the skewer.

- Step 3
- Decorate the beads by wrapping with wire threaded with seed beads or leave them plain. Thread beads together as you would with other types of beads. Create loops with the wire to join them to other beads.

- Handy Hint
- Tearing the edges of the papers creates an interesting effect.
- Handy Hint
- The width of the paper determines the length of the bead.
