- Materials
- • concertina file from stationery supply
• Kaiser ‘sublime’ papers or papers of choice
• pva glue
• small flower punch
• scissors
• paper trimmer
• hole punch
• stiff brush for glue - Step 1
- Gather papers together. These Kaiser papers are double-sided so use both sides for extra design choice.
Trim or tear papers to cover the front of the file and using the pva glue adhere the papers in place. - Step 2
- When covering the flap remove the closure elastic, if possible, to remove and replace without damaging the file. Punch a hole to replace the elastic.
Cover the back in the same way using remaining papers in a patchwork fashion. - Step 3
- Create labels for the front of the file by cutting, tearing and punching out shapes from the scraps of leftover paper.
Include information on the labels such as your name and for future reference details of what you might find in the file.
