- • 3 x 50g balls ‘Moda Vera’ Parade
• 1 x 50g ball Pure Wool 8ply for fringe
• 8.00mm crochet hook
• 7.00mm crochet hook
• scissors
• yarn needle - Step 1
- Foundation row
Using 8mm crochet hook and Parade make 152ch. Row 1: (RS) 1v-st in 4th ch from hook, *miss 2 ch, 1v-st, rep from * to last ch, 1tr, turn (50 v-st). Row 2: 3ch, *1v-st in 1-ch sp; rep from * to last st, 1tr in top of turning ch. Repeat row 2, 5 times (6 rows in all). Fasten off. - Step 2
- Fringe - work at both ends
Using 7mm hook and pure wool yarn sl st to top of tr in last row. Work 1dc, *12ch (1htr, 1tr) in 2nd ch from hook, 4tr in each ch to 2nd last ch, (1tr, 1htr, 1dc,) in last ch, 1dc in 1st dc, work 2dc across the end of scarf, to next row along the end of the scarf; repeat from * to end. Fasten off and sew in ends (6 curlicue fringes).

- To make a wider scarf increase the number of rows worked to 10. This pattern can also be used to make a super soft shawl; working around 40 rows should give you a nice width.
