• Francheville assorted brads & buttons
• Francheville coloured safety pins
• Zig texile markers mixed colours
• medium blunt darning needle
• temporary marker
• medium sewing needle

• scissors - Step 1
- Plan out the type of look you want and colours you want to use. Select the brads you want to use and draw your design on paper. We placed brads around the eyelet holes.
- Step 2
- When you’ve decided on your design, use a darning needle to make holes for the brads. Ensure brads are placed where tongue of shoe will stop them rubbing on your feet.
- Step 3
- Sew buttons on with beading thread. With textile markers draw pictures, write poems, friends’ names, symbols, use your imagination and have fun!
- Handy Hint
- If you want to put brads where the tongue doesn’t protect your foot cover the brad prongs with fabric glue to create a smooth finish.
