- Materials
- • double-sided scrapbook paper (Kaiser Reminiscing - Treasure)
• medium weight cardstock
• pencil & eraser
• metal ruler
• craft knife & cutting mat
• paper trimmer
• photo or image for card
• optional - rub ons, decorative photo corners - Step 1
- Create a template
Cut the cardstock 13cm x 6cm and rule lines as shown in the diagram. With the cardstock on a cutting mat, use a sharp craft knife to cut out the ‘V’ shapes.
- Step 2
- Cut card
Using paper trimmer cut a strip of double-sided scrapbook paper 15cm across. Fold in half to form the card.
- Step 3
- Trace
Open out the card and lay the template on top to the right of the fold. Hold firmly in place and use a pencil to lightly trace the ‘V’ shapes.
- Step 4
- Cut
Place card on cutting mat and use a ruler and a sharp craft knife to cut along the angled pencil lines, do not cut the short lines at the ends of the ‘V’. Carefully erase any pencil lines.
- Step 5
- Fold
Beginning at the bottom, fold each double diamond downward and press firmly along the fold. Tuck each fold behind the triangle below. Alternatively just let it sit on top. - Step 6
- Finish
Adhere photo in place, add decorative corners and rub on words. - Handy Hint
