Materials

• 2 felt squares - black & white or colours of choice
• pencil
• scissors
• needle & thread
• Hobby fill
• 4mm red ribbon

Step 1

Trace the pattern off this page. Use the pattern to cut out two footy shapes in white felt and two in black.

Step 2

Using your needle and thread sew together one black and one white footy shape (quarter) then sew a third section onto the first two. Sew the last section onto the third and then onto the first section leaving a 5cm gap so you can fill the footy.

Step 3

Turn the football inside out through the hole. Push the filling into the footy until it is a nice firm shape. Finish by sewing up the hole and sewing the red ribbon on to form the lace.
