Knitted friendship card

- Materials
- • pair 2.00mm knitting needles
• 4ply yarn
• cardstock & co-ordinating papers
• rub ons
• toothpicks
• small wooden beads
• matching colour stamp pad
• double-sided tape
• scissors
• paper trimmer
• PVA glue - Step 1
- Cast on 15 stitches and knit 12 rows of stocking stitch (knit 1 row, purl 1 row). Transfer onto toothpick, create a small ball of yarn and stab another toothpick through to hold. Glue a small wooden bead to one end of each toothpick.
- Step 2
- Cut cardstock 21cm x 15cm and fold in half to form the base of the card. Trim and tear the matching papers and arrange on to the card front. Attach using double-sided tape.
- Step 3
- Rub on words and tint the torn edges using the stamp pad. Attach the small knitted piece using double-sided tape.
