Materials
• yarn in various colours
• scissors
• cardboard & pencil or pompom maker
• chenille or doll needle
Step 1
Each scarf requires 38 - 40 small pompoms in a variety of colours. Make pompoms the traditional way using two cardboard circles with the centres removed or use a pompom maker. If necessary trim pompoms to same size. Arrange pompoms in desired order.
Step 2
Thread needle with a length of yarn and tie a large knot in one end. Push needle through the first pompom and slide down to rest at the knot. Thread yarn through next pompom without securing and continue to thread through all pompoms. Make sure pompoms are not too squashed together then tie a knot and trim.
