Materials

• silver tiger tail
• silver crimps
• pink 4mm Swarovski crystal bicones
• pink 6mm Swarovski crystal bicones
• 4mm white pearl beads
• 6mm white pearl beads
• 10cm medium silver chain
• fob closure
• silver end bars
• silver jump rings
• cutting pliers
• round nose pliers
• bead board

Step 1

Cut 5 x 50cm lengths of tiger tail. Attach one length to one of the end bars and secure using a crimp.

Thread on one crimp then one pearl followed by another crimp. Squeeze the first crimp closed approximately 10cm from the end bar and the second crimp to hold the pearl firmly in place.

Continue threading on crimps and pearls in the same way every 5cm until approximately 12cm tiger tail remains.

Step 2

Attach another length of tiger tail to the same end bar securing it with the crimp as before.

Thread on single crystals with a crimp on each side, spaced at regular intervals. Use the pearl length as a guide and stagger the crystals so they are not in the same spot as the pearls.

Continue with the other lengths, using groupings of crystals and pearls or singularly as desired.

Step 3

Attach all the beaded lengths of tiger tail to the other end bar. First slide on a crimp, thread the end through the hole and bend the tiger tail back then slide the crimp over the end, squeeze to secure and trim off excess.

When attaching the beaded lengths to this end bar change the order, take the first wire and make it the last one on the other end then move all the others up one. This will make the necklace look more interesting.

Cut the 10cm length of chain in half and attach 5cm to each of the end bars using jump rings.
Attach the fob closure to the centre point of the chains using jump rings.
