Another beautiful Living with Yarn project to keep you warm this Autumn.

Final Result

Materials

• 9 x 100g balls ‘Moda Vera’ Cardellino - 3 balls in each of 3 co-ordinating colours (moss, brown, cream)
• 9.00mm crochet hook
• Scissors
• Yarn needle

Approx size: 120cm x 95cm

Step 1

Using 9.00mm hook and C1 make 104ch.
Row 1: 1dc in 2nd ch from hook, 1dc in each ch to end, turn (103 dc).
Row 2: 4ch, 1tr in 1st st, (1tr in each of next 7 sts, sk 2 st, 1tr in each of next 7 sts, v-st in next st) 5 times, 1tr in each of next 7 sts, sk 2 st, 1tr in each of next 7 sts, (1tr, 1ch, 1tr) in last st, turn.
Row 3: 4ch, 1tr in 1st st, (1tr in each of next 7 sts, sk 2 st, 1tr in each of next 7 sts, v-st in 2-ch lp) 5 times, 1tr in each of next 7 sts, sk 2 st, 1tr in each of next 7 tr, (1tr, 1ch, 1tr) in lp, turn.
Repeat row 3, four more times.
Change to C2 and work row 3, six times.
Change to C3 and work row 3, six times.
Repeat pattern, changing colour every 6 rows until there are 9 colour panels, working the last row in same colour as last panel.
Last row: 1ch, 2dc in 1st lp, (1dc in each of next 7 sts, dec, 1dc in each of next 7 sts, 2dc in 2-ch lp) repeat to end.
Fasten off and sew in all ends.

Abbreviation

C1 = colour 1
C2 = colour 2
C3 = colour 3
ch = chain
dc = double crochet
lp = loop
sk = skip
sl st = slipstitch
st = stitch
tr = treble
dec = decrease = (draw up loop in next st) twice,
yoh pull through all 3 loops.
v-st = v-stitch (1tr, 2ch, 1tr in same st).
