- Materials
- • 80cm x 112cm printed cotton fabric
• 80cm x 112cm quilted padded calico
• Gütermann sewing thread to match printed fabric
• 51cm zipper in colour to match printed fabric
• sewing machine

• 8 x felt squares - Step 1
- From both the cotton fabric and quilted padded calico, cut the following pieces:
A - cut two 92cm wide x 15cm high
B - cut two 92cm wide x 5cm high
C - cut two circles with a 32cm diameter. 
- Step 2
- With wrong sides together, stitch each printed cotton fabric piece to its matching quilted padded calico piece 5mm in from raw edge.

- Step 3
- With right sides together, pin piece B to piece A aligning top long edge. Sew in 21cm from each side seam with a 1.5cm seam allowance, leaving a gap in the middle for the zipper. Press seam open. Sew in zipper into gap in seam using a zipper foot.

- Step 4
- With right sides facing, sew the two shorter ends together with a 1.5cm seam allowance, to form a loop. Trim and neaten seam either by overlocking or using a zigzag stitch. Using a 1.5cm seam allowance, right sides together, sew one piece C to the bottom edge of the zippered fabric loop. Clip, trim and neaten seam as in previous step.

- Step 5
- Making sure zipper is unzipped (for turning through), pin then sew the remaining piece C to the top edge of fabric loop. Clip, trim and neaten seam. Turn right side out and press seams.

- Step 6
- Felt plate dividers
Cut a 24cm diameter circle from each felt square. Measurements for side plate holder 20cm diameter.
Cut the following pieces:
A - cut two 71cm wide x 10cm high
B - cut two 71cm wide x 5cm high
C - cut two circles with a 25cm diameter 
- Step 7
- To calculate for other sizes: For top and bottom circles add 5cm to plate/bowl diameter. For long side piece add 5cm to plate/bowl circumference for width and 6cm to the total of stacked plates/bowls for height.
