COVERED TISSUE BOX COVER

Add some colour to a plain box of tissues.

Materials
Papier mache square tissue box cover
Kaisercraft La-Di-Da 6" paper pad
55cm rickrack
PVA glue
Paint brush & palette
Pencil & ruler
Scissors
Paper towel
Optional – craft knife & cutting mat
Step 1
For the bottom section (stripe) cut four papers 7cm x 12.5cm wide. Brush PVA onto the back of paper and glue to the bottom section of the box. Smooth out any bubbles and allow to dry.
Step 2
For the top section (pink) cut four papers 7cm x 12.5cm wide. Brush PVA onto the back of paper and glue to the top section of the box slightly overlapping the bottom paper. Smooth out any bubbles and allow to dry.
Step 3
Place the top of the box face down on the wrong side of a paper and trace around the edge and around the opening. Cut around the outside edge only. Brush PVA onto the back of paper and glue to the top of the box. When dry cut out the opening from the wrong side using a craft knife. Alternatively cut slits from the wrong side and fold the paper up underneath and glue.
Step 4
Glue die cut borders to the top edges and other die cuts to the sides. Glue rickrack to cover where the papers overlap.
