Earring holder display

By LizShep

Picture frame earring holder(s)
Final Result
Materials
Plain photo frame
Balsa wood
Fabric or paper of your choosing
Glue
Scissors
Drawing pin
Small hooks
Mounting tape
Step 1
Using plain wooden picture frames, remove the backing
Step 2
Paint the frames your choice of colour, leave to dry
Step 3
Cut balsa wood to the same size as the backing, cover the balsa wood with your choice of fabric or paper
Step 4
Once paint on the frame is dry and the glue has set on your balsa wood covers. Glue the balsa wood to the back of the frame, in place of the original backing (so that the chosen material/paper shows at the front of the frame)
Step 5
Make small holes using a drawing pin in the fabric/paper covered balsa wood where you would like to place hooks to hang your jewellery
Step 6
Gently screw in your hooks into the pin holes
Step 7
Apply mounting tape to the back of each frame (3M is best as you can remove them and move your frames around when desired), and hang on your wall!
