A colourful way to keep all your pencils together

Materials

• felt square
• matching embroidery floss
• sewing needle
• scissors
• button

Step 1

Cut a piece of felt to measure 7cm by the length of the felt square then cut another piece of felt to measure 15cm x 7cm.

Step 2

Place the short piece on top of the longer piece then sew together using the embroidery floss and back stitch along the sides and bottom edge leaving the top open.

Step 3

Insert pencils then fold the flap over to measure where to locate the button.

Sew button in place, carefully snip a button hole on the flap using scissors.
