Flip-flop key ring

Materials

• pink or blue stiffened glimmer felt
• green adhesive backed felt
• silver swivel lobster clasp
• large silver jump ring
• non-stretch nylon beading thread
• blue seed beads
• needle
• scissors

Step 1

Draw the shape of a thong onto the pink glimmer felt and a reverse of the thong onto the green adhesive backed felt and cut them out.

Step 2

Thread the needle with beading thread, knot the end and bring the needle up from the wrong side of the pink felt at the toe end of the thong. Thread on enough seed beads to create a strap, push the needle back through the felt at the base of the thong and tie a knot underneath. Repeat for the other strap.

Step 3

Remove the paper from the back of the green felt and lining up the edges with the base of the beaded thong press firmly to attach. Make small hole in the heel of the thong and using a large silver jump ring attach the thong to the key ring.
