- Materials
- • ‘Moda Vera’ Flurry 50g balls as per size
• 1 pair 4.00mm knitting needles or size
to obtain correct tension
• Set of 4, 4.00mm double-pointed
knitting needles
• Stitch holders
• Scissors
• Yarn needle
• Tape measure - Step 1
- Tension
18 sts x 24 rows to 10cm over garter stitch using 4.00mm knitting needles. - Step 2
- BODY – Make 2
(Front and back worked alike).
Cast on 88 (98, 108, 118) sts.
Work in garter st until work measures 42 (43, 44, 45)cm from beg, ending with RS facing. - Step 3
- Shape Armholes
Cast off 4sts at beg of next 2 rows …
80 (90, 100, 110) sts.
Dec 1 st at each end of the next and foll
alt rows until 74 (84, 94, 104) sts rem.
Cont without shaping until work measures 62 ( 64, 66, 68) cm from beg, ending with RS facing. - Step 4
- Shape Shoulders
Cast off 6 (7, 8, 10) sts at beg of the next 4 rows … 50 (56, 62, 64) sts. Place rem sts on stitch holder. - Step 5
- COLLAR
Sew Back and Front together at the shoulder seams.
Note: Collar is worked in rounds.
Transfer sts from stitch holders to 3 needles of the set of 4, placing a marker at the start.
Work in rounds for 12cm. Cast off very loosely. - Step 6
- MAKE UP
Sew side seams up to Armhole cast off.
Weave in loose ends.
