Friendship bracelets

You can make one of these for each of your friends.

Materials

• perle thread in 3 colours of your choice
• scissors
• masking tape

Step 1

Cut two 90cm lengths of each colour thread. With the ends of all threads together fold in half and knot together 7cm from the fold. Cut the loop.

Step 2

Tape the folded end to the table and divide the threads into 3 colour groups with four strands in each group. Plait the 3 bundles together - left over centre, right over centre, repeat until plait is long enough to go around your wrist.

Step 3

When the plait is long enough remove the masking tape and tie all the threads together in a knot. Place the bracelet around your wrist and tie the ends together. Cut off any long threads.
