Golden Heaven - Christmas dinner invitation

- Materials
- • Fundamental Cardstock 140mm x 280mm - gold
• Mix-It A4 paper - paisley gold
• A4 Cardstock/paper - chocolate
• A4 Cardstock/paper - gold
• Diamante stickers
• 30cm x 12mm Gold Stripe organza ribbon
• 30cm x 5mm Chocolate velvet ribbon
• Double-sided tape - 6mm & 10mm
• Scissors
• Craft glue
• Paper trimmer
• Craft knife, ruler & cutting mat
• Computer with laser printer - Step 1
- Cut an A4 strip of paisley gold paper 4cm wide and stick 1cm in from the left-hand side of an A4 sheet chocolate cardstock/paper.
- Step 2
- Cut an A4 strip of gold cardstock/paper 5cm wide and carefully tear in half down the length giving a rough wavy look.
Stick the torn gold strip on top of the paisley paper, with the straight edge 3mm in from the left-hand edge of the paisley card. - Step 3
- Stick a length of gold stripe ribbon to the right of the paisley paper, trimming ends at the edges of paper.
- Step 4
- From paisley paper cut a triangle 5cm wide at the base and 11cm high.
Cut a 1cm x 2cm piece of gold card for the tree trunk. - Step 5
- Stick the gold tree trunk to the right of the ribbon in the centre of the remaining brown card, 1cm up from the bottom edge of invite.
Stick the paisley triangle onto the tree trunk, 2cm up from the bottom edge of the invite and attach 3 diamante stickers to the tree shape. - Step 6
- Tie the ends of the velvet ribbon together in a knot and cut one side 4cm from the knot.
Stick the knot in the centre of the torn gold card 3cm up from the base of the invite.
Stick the 4cm length of ribbon across the invite to the left and the long length to the right.
Trim ribbon at the side edges of invite. - Step 7
- Print invite wording on the back of the paisley paper and trim to size 10-11cm wide x 13-14cm high.
Stick onto the remaining brown section of the invite centered above the tree.
