Note: It is easier to carry loops onto spare yarn to work edge.
When 84 [93, 102] loops are made and before taking loops from loom, work 8ch.
Now slide all loops onto spare yarn from loom and work as follows:
Insert hook through first 3 loops, right to left and work 1dc, (5ch, 1dc in next group of 3 loops), repeat to end of strip; 8ch, 1dc in centre of hairpin lace strip, 8ch, 1dc through first 3 loops on other side.
Repeat from ( to ) to end of loops; 8ch, sl st in centre of strip. Fasten off.
Repeat for rem 9 Strips. - Step 3

With WS facing, draw up a loop in right-hand side 8-ch loop, 1dc in same loop.
Row 1: 5ch, 1dc in first 5-ch loop, (5ch, 1dc in next 5-ch loop) to end, 1dc in last 5-ch loop, 5ch, 1dc in end 8-ch loop.

Join front and back Shoulder seam as above. Joining strips over 8 [9, 10] 5-ch loops on each side. - Step 5
- SHELL EDGE
Leaving a 19 [20, 22]cm opening from shoulder to armhole, join sides by working a row of dc along seam.
Work Shell pattern around neckline, armhole opening and hem as follows:
Using 4.00mm crochet hook draw up a loop in seam join, (1dc, 1htr, 1tr, 1htr, 1dc) in each 5-ch/8-ch loop, repeat around opening to end, sl st in 1st dc. Fasten off. - Step 6
