1. 23mm ribbon - zigzag stitch along each edge
2. 16mm ribbon - straight stitch along each edge
3. 10mm ribbon - straight stitch along each edge
4. 4mm cord - wide zigzag stitch across the cord

1. 6mm rickrack - straight stitch through the centre
2. 8mm rickrack - straight stitch through the centre
3. Decorative braid - straight stitch through the centre
4. 5mm ribbon - straight stitch through the centre

- Example C
1. 23mm chunky rickrack - straight stitch through the centre
2. 23mm chunky rickrack - zigzag stitch through the centre. 
- Note
- Match your thread to the colour of the ribbon or trim or try a bold contrast coloured thread. Wee have used the same light coloured thread throughout so that stitching would be visible. Ribbon and trims can be attached using a straight stitch, zigzag stitch or a decorative stitch. Pin or tack ribbon or trim in place.
