Lantern card

I love cardmaking and this one is really easy to create!

Final Result

Materials

• white card
• red paper
• fine black cord
• black ribbon
• double-sided tape
• pencil
• glue stick
• scissors

Step 1

Using the pencil, trace around a jar onto the red paper. Cut out the circle and glue on to the front of the card.

Step 2

Attach the one end of the fine black cord to the top of the lantern using double-sided tape. Take the cord up and over the top of the card and tape to the inside.

Step 3

Using double-sided tape attach 2cm lengths of black ribbon at the top and bottom of the lantern. Write a New Year message inside the card.
