Magnetic bookmark

My friends and I made a bookmark each to use in our school books!

Final Result

Materials

• scrapbook paper
• adhesive magnetic strip
• alphabet stickers
• decorative stickers, motifs, buttons, jewels
• glue
• ruler
• pencil
• scissors

Step 1

Using a pencil and ruler mark a strip 3cm wide by 20cm long on the scrapbook paper. Cut out the strip for your bookmark.

Step 2

Cut 2 x 3cm lengths of the magnetic strip and attach to each end of the bookmark.

Step 3

Use alphabet stickers to spell out your name or decorate with stickers, motifs or glue on buttons and jewels.

Handy Hint

These make great gifts for mum and dad as well as your friends.
