Making a mini book - tied up

Materials
• paper for pages
• cardstock for cover
• scissors/paper trimmer
• small hole punch/awl
• 40cm cord
Step 1
Cut 3 paper pages 9cm x 9cm and a 10cm x 9.5cm cover. Fold all pages and cover in half. Insert pages inside each other then into the cover. On the fold, mark then punch a hole 1.5cm in from top and bottom edges. Thread ends of cord from outside to inside, tie in a knot and trim ends.
Handy Hint
Children can embellish the covers and pages with stickers or hand drawn pictures then write little stories inside.
Handy Hint
Change the dimensions of the pages & covers to make these books in any size. Add more pages if desired.
