Mother’s Day frame

- • Francheville glitter scrapbook paper
• butterfly scrapbook paper
• Francheville white shadow box frame (20cm x 20cm)
• Francheville blossom ribbon tube
• 2 pkts Francheville cork letters
• paint - spearmint colour
• paint brush
• craft knife & cutting mat
• double-sided adhesive tape
• double-sided adhesive foam tape
• ruler
• scissors - Step 1
- Measure and cut out paper to fit over frame of shadow box. Attach paper to frame using double-sided adhesive tape.
Cut a length of pink grosgrain ribbon to fit around the top and side edges of the frame. Attach with double-sided tape. Attach a length of the remaining ribbon across the top front panel of the frame. - Step 2
- Cut out a large butterfly from each scrapbook paper.
Fold the wings in towards the body of each butterfly to create a 3D appearance.
Cut a small strip of double-sided foam tape the size of each butterfly’s body and stick a strip to the underneath of each butterfly body.
Attach one butterfly to the top right corner of frame and the other butterfly to middle of left-hand side of frame. - Step 3
- Cut two other designs from the scrapbook paper and attach one to the top left corner and the other to the bottom right corner of frame using the double-sided foam tape to add dimension.
Paint 2 x M’s and 1 x U of the cork letters in spearmint and attach to top panel of frame over pink ribbon.
Insert your favourite photo of mum into frame.
