Mottled Paint Wands

These fun wands have a mottled paint finish, featuring Eco Green Crafts’ Acrylic Paint. A bright base coat is applied, then a lighter color is “mottled” over the surface. Bows of ribbon finish these adorable wands.

Materials

Small wooden wands
Eco Green Crafts’ Acrylic Paints
Spray bottle
Paper towels
Ribbons

Step 1

Paint a base coat of Eco Green Crafts’ Acrylic Paint (your choice of color) over the head of the wand. Allow to dry completely.

Step 2

Paint another coat, using a different color.

Step 3

While the paint is still wet, spray water droplets all over with your spray bottle.

Step 4

Blot the surface with paper towels to create the mottled effect.

Step 5

Decorate with ribbons as desired.
