Paper Mache Letters

A new and inspiring way to use yarn!

Final Result

Materials

• Paper mache letters - K, N, I & T
• Assorted co-ordinated yarns in purples & greens*
• Acrylic paint - Kaisercraft Violet & Lime
• Paint brush & palette
• Gloss Spray
• Craft Glue
• Scissors
*Moda Vera yarns - Cupcake, Aldora, Shiver & Parade

Step 1

Paint the letters K, N and T using the violet paint and allow to dry.

Step 2

Paint the letter I using lime paint and allow to dry.

Step 3

Spray letters using the Gloss spray, allow to dry thoroughly.

Step 4

Using yarns in a contrasting colour to the painted letter, wrap yarns around a vertical section of each letter securing the ends at the back of the letter using craft glue.
