Pinwheel wreath

- Materials
- • double-sided Christmas scrapbook papers - 5 or 6 different designs
• 35cm white decofoam wreath
• 10m x 25mm (1”) green satin ribbon
• large brads - Christmas colours
• paper trimmer
• craft knife or Fiskars fingertip control knife
• cutting mat
• 1/8” circle punch
• pencil & ruler
• scissors
• sequin pins
• craft glue or hot glue gun & glue sticks - Step 1
- Wrap the entire decofoam wreath with the 25mm green satin ribbon securing the ends using the sequin pins.
- Step 2
- Cut 12 x 15cm squares from a range of scrapbook papers (two from each of six different papers).
Rule a line across both diagonals on each square stopping 2.5cm from the centre on each line, see diagram.
Using Fiskars fingertip control knife or craft knife make a 5-6mm cut across the centre (red line on diagram).
Using the circle punch make a hole at one corner of each triangle (see green circle on diagram). 
- Step 3
- Holding a brad and with right side of the paper facing push the brad through the hole.
Working your way around the square to the next hole, curl the end over and place the brad through the hole. Continue until all four corners are on the brad.
Push the brad through the slit in the centre and open out the ends to secure.
Repeat to create 12 pinwheels in all. - Step 4
- Arrange pinwheels as desired around the wreath then glue in place.

- Paint the wreath or just leave it white if preferred.
