Final Result

Materials

• Medium oval papier mache box
• 38mm red grosgrain ribbons
• 10mm decorative red & white grosgrain ribbon
• Double-sided tape or craft glue/hot glue gun
• Scissors

Step 1

Stick 38mm red grosgrain ribbon around box base 5mm up from the bottom edge.

Step 2

Align 10mm decorative grosgrain ribbon with the bottom edge of red ribbon and attach around base overlapping the bottom section of red ribbon.

Step 3

Stick another length of 10mm ribbon overlapping the top of the red ribbon by 5mm.

Step 4

Attach a 50cm length of 10mm ribbon to the centre of a 50cm length of 38mm ribbon.

Step 5

Loop ribbon into a flat bow securing loops with either double-sided tape or glue.

Step 6

Attach bow to the lid along the length of the lid.
