Red wreath

By Spotlight

Christmas wreaths can be as subtle or as bold as you choose when you make them yourself.
Final Result
Materials
• decofoam solar system kit
• Kaisercraft paint
• Crafterschoice beads chunky beads (red/crystal)
• red seed beads
• red ribbon
• pva glue
• pins
Step 1
Paint one of saturn’s rings with the red paint and allow to dry thoroughly.

Thread an assortment of red beads onto the pins starting with a seed bead as the holes in the larger beads may pass over the pins.

Place a small puddle of the pva glue onto the lid of the bead jar and dip the pin into the glue before stabbing it into the painted wreath, this will secure the pin in place.

Note: When the excess glue has dried it will peel right off the lid.
Step 2
Cover the entire front surface of the wreath with beaded pins leaving a gap, the width of the ribbon, at the bottom.

Wrap ribbon around the base of the wreath and tie in a bow.

Attach a length of ribbon at the top on the back and secure with pins.
Handy Hint
The remaining decofoam kit pieces can be used for other Christmas decorations such as snowmen or baubles.
