Materials

‘Bella Baby’ BLAH BLAH 50gms Balls as per size
1 pr 4.0mm Knitting Needles
4.00mm Crochet Hook

1.2metres Ribbon

Step 1

BODY
Using 4mm needles, cast on 36(40, 44) sts,
Work 5 rows of Garter St (knit every row)
Change to Stocking St, starting with a Knit row(RS)
Continue straight until work measures 20(21, 22)cms, from the beg, ending with a purl row. Place Marker for armholes.
Continue straight until work measures 28(30, 32)cms from the beg, ending with a purl row.
Shoulder Shaping
Cast off 5(6, 6) sts at the beg of the next 4 rows.

Step 2

LEFT FRONT
Using 4mm needles, cast on 18(20, 22) sts,
Work 5 rows of Garter St (knit every row), same as for back.
Change to Stocking St, starting with a Knit row(RS).
Continue straight until work measures 20(21, 22)cms, from the beg, ending with a purl row. Place Marker at the beg of the row, for armholes.
Continue straight until work measures 23(25, 27)cms from the beg, ending with a knit row.

Step 3

Neck Shaping
Cast off 3(4, 5) sts at the beg of the next row.
Dec 1 st at the end(neck edge) of this and every alt row, until there are 10(12, 12) sts, continue straight until work measures same as for back to shoulder cast off, ending with a purl row.
Shoulder Shaping
Cast off 5(6, 6) sts at the beg of the next row.
Purl 1 row. Cast of rem sts.

Step 4

RIGHT FRONT
Using 4mm needles, cast on 18(20, 22) sts,
Work 5 rows of Garter St (knit every row)
Change to Stocking St, starting with a Knit row(RS)
Continue straight until work measures 20(21, 22)cms, from the beg, ending with a purl row. Place Marker at the end of the row, for armholes.
Continue straight until work measures 23(25, 27)cms from the beg, ending with a purl row.

Neck Shaping
Cast off 3(4, 5) sts at the beg of the next row. Work 1 row.

Shoulder Shaping
Cast off 5(6, 6) sts at the beg of the next row.

Step 5

SLEEVES – Make 2
Using 4mm needles, cast on 24(26, 28) stitches
Work 10 Row of Stocking Stitch starting with a knit row.

Shaping
Increase 1 st each end of this and following 10th row, 28(30, 32) Sts.
Continue without shaping until work measures 12(14, 16)cm from the beg, ending with a purl row.

Cap Shaping
Dec 1 st each end of this and alternate rows until there are 12 sts.
Cast off.

Step 6

CROCHET TRIM
With right sides facing and using a back stitch, pin and sew shoulder seams.
Pin and sew sleeves to body, between markers. Pin and sew sleeve and side seams. Weave in loose ends.

Sleeve Trim
With right side facing, using Crochet hook, draw up a loop at the sleeve hem seam.
Round 1: (Ch3, Skip 1 st, Dc in next st), repeat around hem. 11(12, 13) loops in all.
Round 2: SS 2 times along first loop. (Ch4, Dc in next loop) repeat around loops, Ss into 2nd ss at the beg. Bind off.
Repeat for other sleeve.

Collar Trim
With wrong side facing, using Crochet hook, draw up a loop at the left front edge.
Row 1: (Ch3, Skip 1 st, Dc in next st), repeat around neckline. 18(19, 21) loops in all, turn.
Row 2: Ch3 Dc in first loop. (Ch4, Dc in next loop) repeat to end, Ch 3, Dc into last Dc.
Repeat Row 2, 2 more times. Bind off. Weave in loose ends.

Step 7

FINISHING
Cut Ribbon in half and neatly secure at neck line on each side.

Tensions
16 Stitches x 28 Rows to give 10cm Square in Stocking stitch.
