Materials

• 2 x weave cardstock - mint
• 2 x weave cardstock - white
• 1 x weave cardstock - bubblegum
• 1 x weave cardstock - leaf
• coordinating scrapbooking papers
• brads
• die cut letters
• pink gel pen
• 60cm x 10mm printed ribbon - mint & pink stripe
• Fiskars circle template
• Fiskars circle cutter
• double -sided tape
• craft knife
• ruler
• cutting mat
• paper trimmer
• scissors
• sewing machine
• sewing thread
• small photos of each person
• 13cm x 18cm black & white photo (landscape)

Step 1

Trim two pieces of white weave cardstock 28cm high x 29cm wide.

Stick one cut white card onto a piece of mint cardstock 1cm in from the top, bottom and left-hand edge, aligning the right edges of the page.

Stick the other cut white cardstock onto another piece of mint cardstock 1cm in from the top, bottom and right-hand edge, aligning the left edges of page.

Lay pages side by side aligning white card edges.

Step 2

Using double-sided tape, mount the 13cm x 18cm photo onto a 14cm x 21cm piece of bubblegum cardstock 5mm in from the top, bottom and left-hand edges.

Attach the mounted photo onto a 16cm x 22cm piece of leaf cardstock 5mm in from the left-hand side and 1cm in from the top and bottom edges.

Stick mounted photo to the right-hand page, 8cm up from the bottom of page, aligning the right-hand side edges.

Step 3

Attach a length of printed ribbon across both pages 3.5cm up from the bottom edge.

Topstitch a border around each of the pages in the centre of the outer mint card border.

Tie loose threads to the back of the pages.

Stitch a border around the mounted photo also in the centre of the outer leaf card border.

Step 4

Add the title by sticking die cut monograms across the page over the ribbon and above ribbon if needed.

Cut strips from the striped printed paper to create tree trunk and branches.

Stick to the left page on the right hand side in desired layout.

Step 5

Using the fiskars cutter and circle template, cut a variety of different sized circles from the printed papers, and the bubblegum and leaf cardstock.

Cut small photos into small circles.

Stick printed circles onto a slightly larger leaf card circles.

Stick cut photos onto slightly larger bubblegum card circles.

Optional: Topstitch around outer leaf card border on circles.

Step 6

Stick layered circles onto pages around tree branches in desired layout representing a tree shape.

Further embellish pages by inserting brads around the tree shape.

Write wording or message with gel pen above and below the mounted photo on the right page.
