Weave Paper Tree

Final Result

Materials

- 40 Sheets Weave Paper in colours of choice*
*from 2 to 10 colours - red & white to multi
- Fizz Glitter
- Receipt Spike
- Wrapping Paper
- Paper Trimmer or Craft Knife, Ruler & Cutting Mat
- Craft Glue
- Spray Adhesive
- Hot Glue Gun & Glue Sticks
- Scissors
- Ribbon (for bow on top of tree)

Step 1

Wrap the base of the receipt spike with wrapping paper or apply glue and then glitter to the base of the receipt spike.

Step 2

From the weave paper cut 30 squares in each of the following 10 sizes:
15cm x 15cm;
14cm x 14cm;
12.5cm x 12.5cm;
11.5cm x 11.5cm;
10cm x 10cm;
9cm x 9cm;
7.5cm x 7.5cm;
6.5cm x 6.5cm;
5cm x 5cm;
4cm x 4cm.

Step 3

To form the tree push the squares of weave onto the spike in descending order, i.e. start with the largest squares.

Step 4

When the tree is completed, spray with adhesive and immediately sprinkle with Fizz glitter.
Set aside to dry.

Step 5

Tie the ribbon into a bow and using a hot-glue gun, adhere to the top of the tree.
