Wooden Dolly pegs - Christmas Fairy

- Materials
- • Wooden dolly peg
• Large fabric flower
• 2 x silver chenille sticks
• Small length of yarn for hair
• Silver cord or narrow ribbon
• Kaisercraft acrylic paint - white
• Paint brush
• PVA glue or craft glue
• Fine tip permanent marker - black
• Scissors - Step 1
- Paint wooden dolly peg with white paint.
Let dry. - Step 2
- Snip a small hole in the centre of the flower, slip over the top of the dolly peg.
- Step 3
- Gather flower around the neck of the peg and tie tightly with cord.
If necessary, glue to hold in position. - Step 4
- Bend one silver chenille stick into the shape of wings.
Bend the end of the other chenille stick into a small halo and twist end around centre of wings, trim excess chenille stick.
Glue wings and halo to the back of the fairy. - Step 5
- Cut yarn into 10cm lengths and glue to the top of the fairy’s head.
- Step 6
- Draw the fairy’s face using the fine tip pen.
