Wooden Dolly pegs - Christmas Fairy

Final Result
Materials
• Wooden dolly peg
• Large fabric flower
• 2 x silver chenille sticks
• Small length of yarn for hair
• Silver cord or narrow ribbon
• Kaisercraft acrylic paint - white
• Paint brush
• PVA glue or craft glue
• Fine tip permanent marker - black
• Scissors
Step 1
Paint wooden dolly peg with white paint.
Let dry.
Step 2
Snip a small hole in the centre of the flower, slip over the top of the dolly peg.
Step 3
Gather flower around the neck of the peg and tie tightly with cord.

If necessary, glue to hold in position.
Step 4
Bend one silver chenille stick into the shape of wings.

Bend the end of the other chenille stick into a small halo and twist end around centre of wings, trim excess chenille stick.

Glue wings and halo to the back of the fairy.
Step 5
Cut yarn into 10cm lengths and glue to the top of the fairy’s head.
Step 6
Draw the fairy’s face using the fine tip pen.
